This is the home of the drafting (and eventual final) of our letter to the tech department, asking them to embrace more free software (and also to reconsider the filtering system?).

      • economics involved- you're adding to chadwick tuition by refusing to support open documents

  • option for those who are boycotting closed software
  • ubuntu, including edubuntu, has great software for education, especially at the lower age levels.

• hard letter plopped on their desks? signatures?

• more than one recipient? cc nordquist/hill or something? this might help encourage action.
• if we're going to send to hill, we might write a "proposal" rather than a letter. slightly different format, but *same infos. maybe keep that in mind while writing this.
